Can I bring my caregiver or family member with me?

Yes! When registering, you may also register for an additional two (2) guests to accompany you. So that we can ensure enough space and food, please be sure to register everyone who plans to attend.

I’m not a patient at MD Anderson, but I live in the Houston area. Can I still attend?

Yes! This event is open to anyone affected by kidney cancer.

Is there a virtual option?

Unfortunately, we will not be airing this event live in a virtual format. However, the event will be recorded and made available online in the weeks following the event on the KCA’s YouTube channel.

Will meals be provided?

Yes, a light breakfast, lunch, snacks, and beverages will be provided throughout the day. We will not be able to accommodate food sensitivities, so please plan accordingly and bring your own food/drinks if needed.

Where can I park?

The best self-parking option will be in the Mays Clinic Garage, Entrance #5 on Bertner Ave-you will receive a parking voucher before leaving the meeting to use when exiting this parking garage that will reduce your parking fee to $0.

Valet parking available at Mays Clinic JV Johnson Ave. Entrance #7 for $20 (no voucher available for this option).

Once I’ve arrived at MD Anderson for the meeting, where do I go?

Upon exiting the Mays Clinic Garage (Entrance #5): take elevators S or R to the 2nd floor information desk. At the desk, ask the MD Anderson Ambassadors wearing red tops for your MD Anderson temporary security badge. Once you’ve obtained your security badge, ask the Ambassadors to direct you to the Dan L. Duncan Cancer Prevention Building, 8th floor using elevator Q (near Cool Beans Coffee Shop).

Download MD Anderson’s directions app to learn how to get around campus using your phone!

What if I have other questions?

Please email [email protected].
