Fundraising Goal – $1,000
Amount Raised – $11,222 (donations still coming in!)
Activity – 5K Walk/Run
Event Highlights – My favorite part of the event was everyone lining up at the START line and my husband, Keith, ringing the bell to start the race on his 2nd year diagnosis day. Overall the actual event went off almost perfect!
What advice do you have for other event captains?
My advice for other event holders is to start early, don’t be afraid to ask for help/advice, and promote, promote, promote. And be excited about what you are doing! If you are excited and believe in it, everyone else will too.
Final Thoughts
Don’t ever believe the lie that just because you are from a small town you can’t make a difference. On May 10, 2025 the citizens of Circleville, Ohio made a difference!
