Dr. Bernard Escudier is the former chair of the genitourinary group of the Institut Gustave Roussy in Villejuif, France. He will receive the Nicholas J. Vogelzang Humanitarian Award for his service to kidney cancer patients and deliver the 2024 IKCS: Europe Keynote Lecture.
Dr. Manuela Schmidinger is a Professor of Medicine at the Medical University of Vienna in Vienna, Austria. Dr. Schmidinger will receive the KCA’s Pieter de Mulder Award recognizing oncologists who have made significant contributions to the treatment of kidney cancer.
Dr. Rana McKay is a medical oncologist and Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of California San Diego in San Diego, California, US. Dr. McKay will receive the Christopher G. Wood Rising Star Award, which recognizes talented young kidney cancer experts in honor of the KCA’s late Board Chair and friend, Dr. Christopher G. Wood.
