Dr. Christopher G. Wood, Chair of the KCA’s Board of Directors died in November 2021. Dr. Wood was a gifted urologic surgeon at MD Anderson Cancer Center who championed the kidney cancer community at every opportunity. As a member of the KCA’s Board of Directors since 1998, he has been our fierce leader. We will miss him terribly. In his honor, the Kidney Cancer Association plans to establish an award to advance kidney cancer research and to keep the work and mission of Dr. Wood alive in memory.
