Description: For individuals facing the financial challenges of unexpected expenses during cancer treatment, Partners in Care offers a practical and supportive assistance process. Upon a cancer diagnosis, patients often encounter unforeseen costs not covered by insurance, such as transportation to appointments, prescription costs, or special medical equipment. Partners in Care prioritizes allocating funds directly to patients, addressing their current financial distress. By streamlining an application process and involving a Financial Assistance Committee, Partners in Care aims to provide timely support with their guided, online 5-step application process.

Description: The Cancer Financial Assistance Coalition (CFAC) serves as a one- stop-shop for financial assistance organizations that enhance the health and well-being of cancer patients by alleviating financial challenges. Through collaboration between national organizations, educating patients and providers about available resources, and advocating for patients grappling with the financial burdens of cancer treatment, CFAC aims to make a meaningful impact. The coalition consists of 14 esteemed organizations, including the American Cancer Society, CancerCare, and others, working collectively to address the diverse financial needs of individuals facing cancer.

Description: Vital Options International (VOI) Board of Directors has established the Selma Schimmel Vital Grant, a monetary gift distributed to patients who qualify. With the Selma Schimmel Vital Grant, the board aims to aid those facing significant financial hardship due to chronic, terminal, or rare conditions. Applicants must complete an online form, and the board reviews submissions, often directing qualified individuals to partner organizations for grant processing. Grant award decisions are solely at the discretion of the VOI Board of Directors.
