“With LaRanda on board, the KCA has the full leadership team we were always meant to have,” said Gretchen E. Vaughan, the KCA’s CEO and President. “LaRanda’s financial expertise will help guide the KCA as we continue to scale up, expand our impact, and work to achieve our mission to provide the best in services, support, and education to the kidney cancer community.”

Burke, a native Texan, joined the KCA after a career in both corporate and non-profit finance environments. Along with decades of experience, Burke also brings enthusiasm and passion to help lead the KCA in their strategic plan to increase patient programs and expand their impact in the community.

As Director of Finance, Burke will collaborate with the Board of Directors and the leadership team to ensure the KCA’s operations and programs have the robust, strategic support necessary to accelerate growth.

“I needed to be part of an organization that is helping people and making a difference in the world. The more I learned about the KCA, its programs, and especially the incredible team, I knew this is where I wanted to serve,” Burke said. “I’m thrilled to be part of this community and honored to help fulfill the KCA’s mission and vision to lead the way in curing kidney cancer.”
