“Hair Depigmentation” may also be referred to as loss of hair color.

It is a temporary loss of color to the hair while you are on treatment. It may affect all body hair (eyebrows, eyelashes, chest, etc.).

Not all therapies used to treat kidney cancer cause loss of hair color changes.

There is nothing you can do to prevent your hair from losing its color.

Medications that may be prescribed to treat hair depigmentation: none

When to call your oncologist or oncology nurse:

It is not necessary for you to call your doctor or nurse unless you are concerned.

You should rely primarily upon your doctor for medical information.
