DESCRIPTION:About 81\,000 people will be diagnosed with kidney cancer this year. Together\, we can change that! \n\n\n\n\nIt’s time to step up to the 2026 KCA Challenge: 81K Strong. Join a team\, start your own team\, or fundraise as an individual – the choice is up to you! \n\n\n\nPick an activity that’s meaningful to you and represents the number 81. Miles\, minutes\, reps\, points\, or anything else you can imagine. The options are endless. When you join the challenge\, you can start your own team or do an individual challenge. You can also look for a Regional Challenge to see if there’s one near you. \n\n\n\nWe plan to raise $81\,000 between March 1\, which kicks off Kidney Cancer Awareness Month\, and World Kidney Cancer Day on June 18. DESCRIPTION:For World Kidney Cancer Day 2026\, we’re raising awareness of emotional wellbeing for those living with kidney cancer\, providing information and tools to help them talk more openly and access support if they need it. \n\n\n\n\nVisit worldkidneycancerday.org\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe International Kidney Cancer Coalition’s 2025 Global Patient Survey revealed 85% of kidney cancer patients experienced emotional wellbeing challenges. Yet far too many never talk about them with family\, friends or their medical teams. \n\n\n\nWorld Kidney Cancer Day is celebrated around the world every year on the third Thursday of June by patients\, carers\, healthcare professionals and local organisations. Since it was established in 2017\, it is a day dedicated to raising awareness of the local and global impact of kidney cancer\, educating people about the disease\, and making a difference in the lives of people affected by kidney cancer.  \n\n\n\nWorld Kidney Cancer Day is an initiative helmed by the International Kidney Cancer Coalition (IKCC)\, a global network working together to reduce the burden of kidney cancer locally and globally through collaboration\, sharing and learning from each other.
