Patients, survivors, and caregivers are invited to create a virtual support group, on-the-fly. Here's an easy way to get started: if you're a Facebook® member, check for friends that are online now and send them a message to join you at http://KidneyCancerChat.com (you can cut 'n' paste the URL). Not a Facebook® user? No problem. Just email, IM, or text your friends, including the URL above, and suggest a time to meet-up here. We appreciate our friends who've set up some regularly scheduled online chats, using various web-based tools. This chat isn't intended to replace these get-togethers, but rather is here to help you quickly build a virtual support network, whenever you want to chat-on-demand. Your remarks should be considered as intended for the general public. There is no expectation of privacy, including private chats. We have two rules. First, no SPAM (including pushing any URLs). Second, no deprecating remarks are permitted. Chats and IP addresses are logged. |
